Documents and important conditions
01Documents and procedure
For a permanent residence permit: application form; a foreign passport with a validity period of more than 180 days as of the date of submission; certificate of criminal record / lack thereof; confirmation of solvency or documents confirming exemption from the solvency requirement; notarized document on housing and permanent registration; medical certificate 028/у; photo 35 × 45 mm; certificate of fingerprinting; confirmation of payment of state duty. Depending on the situation: birth, marriage or change of name certificates; confirmation of the preferential basis. Criteria-based assessment, including KAZTEST, and exemptions from it are checked individually. After approval, a residence permit card is issued: passport, decision on permanent residence permit, registration information and a separate state fee.
02What is important to consider
First, a permanent residence permit is considered, then a residence permit card is issued. The period for preparing documents and issuing a card is not equal to the period for consideration of the application.
